BIOGRAPHY
Attracted to violins from a very young age, thanks to my father who transmitted this passion to me,
I built my career as a student and then as a student to give shape to my project of becoming a luthier.
In 2009, I joined the initiating training in the Making of Traditional Instruments
at La Châtre in Berry.
This year of training, very rich in experiences with professional workshops in Nantes with Harriet Kjaer , at the Ponts de Cé with Andrea Frandsen , allowed me to validate my entry into the International School of Violin Making of "Newark-on-Trent and to graduate there in June 2013.
The next 4 years were devoted to perfecting myself in numerous workshops, in restoration in Paris with Pierre Barthel under the direction of Sandrine Osman , where I discovered the rigor of high restoration.
It is in Cécile Grange 's “L'âme et la corde” workshop in Tours that I will deepen the editing as well as in Fany Bourel 's workshop in Chemillé.
In 2015, I made a violin under the advice and direction of Patrick Robin and Viateur Roy at Ponts de Cé.
This generosity of sharing and experience allowed me to deepen my knowledge in the manufacture of my own instruments.
In 2017, I opened my workshop located in the heart of Angers, in Maine et Loire.
In 2018, I became a member of the ALADFI association.
I regularly take part in advanced training courses, in particular those of Iris Carr , luthier in England.

- Conversation with Pauline RITEAU.
"Did you choose ?" January 2020 by Oriane Savouré-Lucas.
"Pauline received me at her home, where she opened her workshop a few years ago. There, in the midst of the string instruments finished or in progress, and her many instruments and luthier tools, Pauline and I have talked about his career and the choice, around a good cup of tea and some sweets from Angevin."
